1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

• Quote request submissions — when you submit a quote request on a business listing, we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), service address (optional), and any message you include.
• Contact form submissions — your name, email address, and message when you contact us through the Site.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on page, clicks, and navigation paths, collected via Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
• Device and browser data — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address (anonymized by GA4 by default).
• Cookies — GA4 sets first-party cookies to distinguish users and sessions. We do not use advertising cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To forward your quote request to the window cleaning business you selected.
• To respond to contact form inquiries.
• To understand how visitors use the Site and improve its content and functionality.
• To monitor the technical performance and security of the Site.
• To comply with applicable law.

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for targeted advertising.

3. How We Share Your Information

• With the business you contact— when you submit a quote request, your contact details and job information are shared with the window cleaning company you selected. That company's own privacy practices govern how they handle your information after receipt.
• Service providers — we use Supabase (database), Resend (transactional email), and Google Analytics (analytics). Each processes data only as necessary to provide their services and is bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

4. Data Retention

Quote request submissions are retained in our database for up to 12 months and then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google's default GA4 settings (14 months). Contact form messages are retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry.

5. Cookies

We use the following cookies on the Site:

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, _gid) — first-party analytics cookies used to measure Site usage. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

A cookie consent notice is displayed on your first visit. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies.

6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) give you the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right to Know — request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
• Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. No opt-out action is required.
• Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Links

Business listing pages may link to external business websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
